LG webOS Signage

Use LG’s webOS Signage panels to run OneDisplay natively without an external player.

LG webOS Signage

LG webOS Signage panels have a capable built-in web runtime, ideal for clean all-in-one deployments.

Compatibility

We support common professional lines across webOS Signage generations. Examples:

  • UH5F-H (mainstream pro line)
  • UL3J, UR640S (entry/SMB signage)
  • SM5J and similar SM/UM/UH lines
  • XE outdoor lines

Recommendation: Choose UH5F-H (or current UH successor) for premium installs, UL3J/UR640S for budget-friendly.

Requirements

  • webOS Signage with URL Launcher/SI Server support
  • Stable network (HTTPS)
  • Accurate time (NTP or network sync)

Setup (overview)

  1. On the panel, open URL Launcher (or SI Server) and set the OneDisplay player URL.
  2. Enable Auto Launch on power-on.
  3. Confirm network and time settings.
  4. Assign the screen in OneDisplay and publish content.

🧰 For mass rollouts, LG SuperSign or partner tooling can push network/URL settings.

What works well

  • 1080p/4K media loops
  • Schedules and playlists with minimal maintenance
  • Mixed portrait/landscape wall installs

Gotchas & tips

  • Web features differ by webOS version; newer panels have better memory/perf for complex HTML.
  • Update to the latest firmware for stability and codec updates.
  • Prefer wired Ethernet for heavy assets and faster sync.

Model examples (non-exhaustive)

  • UH5F-H (flagship pro)
  • UL3J, UR640S (entry/SMB)
  • SM5J (mainstream signage)
  • XE series (outdoor)
